# Insidr Music

> Insidr is a direct-to-fan subscription platform for music artists. Fans subscribe to an artist for a monthly price the artist sets, then stream the artist's released and unreleased music, get behind-the-scenes content and chat directly. Insidr also builds custom subscription apps for artists.

- Fans who subscribe to an artist are called Insidrs. Artists share demos, unreleased recordings, alternate versions, behind-the-scenes photos and videos, and chat with subscribers.
- The Insidr app is available on iOS, Android and the web. Artists manage earnings, subscribers and listening data in the artist dashboard, and can export their fan data.
- Case study: an independent artist's custom Insidr subscription app generated £15,013 in subscription revenue in about 14 months, paying £11,786 to the artist, with 235 paying subscribers and 1,556 fans in the app.
- Insidr was founded by artist Kima Otung and product designer Dan Ryland. It won Creative StartUp of the Year (Wales) at the UK StartUp Awards 2024.
- The site is available in English and Welsh.
